Parking-
Parking is available on-street only in the loading-zone parking space in front of the store.
Please note that the parking lot next door is monthly rented spaces and patrolled by a tow company. We advise only parking on the street.
As you may have noticed, the city has installed a two-way bike lane on the North side of E. Franklin Street between Belvidere and Ninth. In an effort to address the customer questions and concerns that have already arisen, the following are some basic instructions for parking while dropping off or picking up rugs at Christian Lorraine Oriental Rugs:
On Franklin, there will be the usual prohibition on parking prior to 9 a.m. After that time, motorists may park in the lane to the right of the bicycle lanes next to the white-striped buffer lane and flexible posts in what is now termed “floating parking”. This floating parking lane will be closed to traffic for the bulk of the day effectively making Franklin a one-lane thoroughfare during that time. We are also recommending that customers use their hazard lights while parking, especially until regular traffic becomes accustomed to the new flow of traffic on Franklin Street.
Please do not pull between the flexible posts or park in the bike lane, you will be ticketed.
Customers of Christian Lorraine may continue to park for free in the floating parking loading zone as indicated by city signage. Curbside pay-to-park stations have been installed in other areas and parking fees will apply.

From the West-
Take 64 East to 195 Downtown Expressway.
Proceed through the toll and exit on the 2nd Street/Byrd exit.
Take the first left onto 2nd Street.
Go 4 blocks and turn right onto Franklin Street.
We are located on the left side of the street before you cross 3rd.
From the North-
Take 95 South to Belvidere Street exit.
At the end of the exit turn left.
Turn right onto Belvidere Street.
Go six blocks and turn left onto Franklin Street.
We are located on the left side of the street before you cross 3rd Street.
From the South (Midlothian)
Take Powhite Parkway to 195 South (Downtown Expressway)
Exit at the 2nd Street/Byrd Street exit.
Take the 1st left onto 2nd Street.
Go 4 blocks and take a right onto Franklin Street.
We are located on the left side of the street before you cross 3rd Street.
From the South (Petersburg/Chester)
Take 95 North to 195 N (Downtown Expressway)
Exit at the Belvidere Street Exit.
Merge onto Canal Street.
Make the first right onto Adams Street.
Make the first right onto Cary Street.
Go three blocks and turn left onto 2nd Street.
Go two blocks and turn right onto Franklin Street.

From the East-
Take 64 West to the 5th Street/ Coliseum Exit.
Stay on 5th Street, go 4 blocks and turn right onto Grace St.
Go 4 blocks and turn onto 1st Street.
Take the first left onto Franklin Street.
